Swim Workout - 3 x 1500's

I swam with Kristin twice in August and I hadn't swum at all in September. So of course I thought, "hey, why not swim 3 x 1500's on Monday?!" I hadn't even noticed the paragraph in Chuck's email, and then Mike Yates posted something on Tricowtown. I figured some of the triathlete crowd would show up, but I think the weather was a big deterrent. There were about 3 of us who started the set, and I was the only one who finished (so Papa Chuck and I had some bonding time at the end when I was the only one left in the pool!). The other five or so people did a different set of 10 x 200's. I was surprised that the 1500's actually went by fairly fast, especially since I didn't have anyone to race. My pace was not very fast by any means, but I am totally out of swimming shape. I was happy with my effort and the slight descension. The interval was 1-minute rest, so I went on 25:00. The total yardage for the day was 5,500 meters (long course), which included an 800 warm-up and a 200 warm-down.
