Hooray California

We did not have much luck traveling yesterday. Our flight was delayed three hours due to mechanical problems, and they ended up finding us a different plane. Then we had some crazy turbulence the whole way. I still managed to sleep off-and-on for three hours, but I think the turbulence woke me up about every 5-10 minutes. Fortunately I didn't get sick :) We flew into LAX (we had a frequent flyer ticket), and my parents picked us up. There was a big accident on the freeway on the way home, so we had to take surface streets back home (and Cliff got the scenic tour of the bad parts of LA). We slept in this morning, and the weather is absolutely gorgeous outside. You can see every detail on the mountains, and it's about 80 degrees. My mom and I went for a long walk (we walked by our old house in San Marino - the people there must think we are creepers). So now we're just hanging out, and I think it's about time to watch last night's Hell's Kitchen premier.
