Weekend, you tease me with your shortness.

Friday... woke up early after a horrible night's sleep and ran 5 miles on the dreadmill. I packed up my stuff and headed to the airport. The taxi and flight went smoothly, and I got back to DFW shortly after noon. Jordan and Leslie came down and we all went to dinner at Saltgrass and then saw a Music of Led Zeppelin performance with the Fort Worth Symphony at the Nokia Theater. It was really cool... definitely something different to do. I slept in on Saturday, and Cliff made some tasty breakfast burritos. Leslie and I went to Plano and did some shopping (Nordstrom Rack, Express, and a failed attempt to work on my Macy's registry) while Cliff and Jordan looked at trucks. Cliff cooked some steaks and corn on the cob for dinner, and I made the asparagus. GusGus woke me up early this morning, so I took care of him and then went for a 10-mile run. A long run was just what I needed to help clear my head. I did the grocery shopping at Walmart, and now I just have to run a couple errands and take care of a few things before I go back to work tomorrow. Ick.
