Lightening Karma
Sometimes I think that all of the time we spent wishing for lightening as age group swimmers has come back to haunt me as a masters swimmer. This morning I got up at 4:45 to go to swim practice (and get there early to do a little extra), and I noticed lightening as soon as I turned onto Boat Club (near my house). I thought that maybe the weather would be traveling east and it would be fine in Benbrook. It got better as I drove down 820, but then I noticed a bunch of lightening as soon as I got close to Benbrook. Sure enough, the pool was closed. So I used the locker room there and got ready for work, but what a waste of a morning. The good news is I filled up on gas for $1.29/gallon (hooray for Benbrook and the new QT). I have an appointment with Dr. Brian at 1:30 today, and I get done with work at 3:00. I'm going to workout for a few hours at the federal gym and then stay downtown this evening since I'm meeting some friends for dinner.

That's frustrating! UGH! But at least the thought was there! LOL
Good luck with Dr. Brian.
