Liking the Elliptical

Yesterday I did 30 minutes of weights/abs and 15 minutes on the elliptical machine (the one with arms). It was a 2-hour+ workout day, so that was pretty good for this time of year. I am trying to lift light to tone up but I just feel like I'm getting bulky. I know I need to lose the waddle though... that is part of the problem. My shin felt pretty good on the elliptical, so I decided to do an hour workout today. I alternated between the stationary elliptical and the elliptical with the arm thing-a-ma-bobs (20 min stat, 20 min arms, 20 min stat). I like the one with arms better because I might as well give my arms a workout instead of letting them just hang there, but it requires me to bring my heel up more on my stride, and that puts more pressure on my shin.

It was nice to sleep in (by that, I mean wake-up at 5:40 for work instead of waking up earlier to workout) after a long day yesterday. I finally got home at about 7:20 after coaching and then stopping at Baker Brothers to pick up dinner for us. The Taos salad is the key to my heart. Cliff said the baked potato soup is really good if you're a soup person. I took some cute pictures of Angus last night, so I will try to upload those tomorrow.
