151.5 this morning... shedding the poundage. I'm dangerously close to falling out of the Athena category. Heck yeah!
Last night I had my kids do the 8 x 50's freestyle test set where they try to make all 8 on a low-rest interval (45, 50, 55, 1:00, 1:05, 1:10). My brain was fried by the end, and I stopped a few kids (thinking they missed the interval when they didn't). Seriously, how did my coaches manage the craziness?! I am really good with numbers too. Maybe I just need like 20 years of practice?
I slept in (if 5:30 constitutes sleeping in) this morning and carpooled with Cliff. I managed a 5.5-mile dreadmill run @ 10-minute mile pace. I have been running faster than that, and I'm not sure why I hurt so much. Maybe I need a little recovery. I wore a dress to work, so obviously I'm out of sorts.
