iPhone Decision '09

Yesterday I did a short 40-minute workout (mostly weights/upper-body) at 24-Hour Fitness before I made the Super Walmart trip for groceries. I logged 11 hours last week and worked out every day. I am definitely feeling it today, and I will probably need a rest day soon. I weighed in at 153.5 this morning, so I am slowly, steadily making my way towards my goal weight of 145. I am happy with a weekend weight loss since I usually lose weight during the week and gain it all back (and then some) on the weekends.

I am still debating on a possible new phone:
iPhone 3G (8 gig) - $399 today
iPhone 3G (8 gig) - $199 on 11/30/2009 (contract renewal)
BB Curve - $275 today ($100 mail-in rebate)
BB Curve - $199 on 11/30/2009 (contract renewal)

I am leaning towards paying the $399 and getting the iPhone now. My phone is a piece of junk, and everyone says how great the iPhone is. But my inner accountant (who is usually rather quiet, as opposed to my dominant inner fat girl) says to wait and save the $200 or maybe go with the Blackberry since it’s a cheaper alternative.

GusGus woke me up at 4:06 this morning, which wasn’t too bad since my alarm was set for 4:20 am. I swam masters this morning:

Warm-up: 300 kick w/ fins, 300 freestyle swim, 400 kick w/ fins, 500 freestyle pull

Main Set:
4 x 100’s @ 1:30 (swam these)

2 x 200’s @ 3:00 (swam these)

1 x 400 @ 6:00 (used finger paddles on these)

4 x 100’s @ 1:30 (used paddles and buoy on these)

I went to Baker Brother’s for lunch with Stephanie today, so I didn’t workout at the gym. I guess that turned out well since Cliff told me that ALL of the cardio machines were out. There must’ve been something wrong with the power?

I'm getting the iPhone for my birthday in September. I wanted one in January, but my inner accountant really screamed at me!
