I worked out for three hours today! Yikes, that is five hours in two days. The scale was nicer to me this morning (down 3.5 from Sunday), so I must've had a food baby yesterday. Today is going to be a long day. Gus woke me up at 4:00 am (20 minutes before my alarm clock), and he had a big, smelly surprise just waiting for me. I did some push-ups and ab work since I was up so early, and then I headed to the pool. I got a long workout in at lunch since I'm leaving work a little late (coaching at TWU instead of TCC this week).
Here are my workouts from this morning and lunch time:
100 girl push-ups, 250 crunches (done in 5 sets – 20 push-ups/50 crunches)
Swim Workout:
Warm-up:
300 kick with fins, 400 free, 50 kick, 150 kick with fins, 400 pull, 100 kick with fins (1400 total)
Main Set:
2 x 400’s pull @ 6:30
Broken at 300 (rest :10), 100 @ 80%
100 easy kick with fins
4 x 200’s pull @ 3:30
Broken at 150 (rest :10), 50 @ 90%
100 easy kick with fins
8 x 100’s pull @ 1:45
Broken at 75 (rest :05), 25 @ 100%
200 easy swim
8 x 50’s
1-4 breaststroke kick @ 1:00
5-8 25 back/25 breast swim @ :55
6 x 50’s freestyle w/ finger paddles, breathing every 7 strokes @ :55
100 warm-down
Total: 5,000 yards, 1:33:03
Stairmaster – 30 minutes
Stationary Bike – 30 minutes
